hollow

front row seat
in terror land

animals
dot the highways
skeletal cars
drive past
with
busloads
of passengers

happy and singing
lets stop for a birch beer
carry a straw
in my side pocket

now
to get it
again
so
pull over
the voice
in the speaker
says
