i remember the view

days in the hospital

had the tv on
while i slept
on a pile of
injustice

i am here because
my stomach exploded
those doctors seem
amused

does that hurt
we
are here to take
blood

and the bag filled
with nutrition
dripped

flat lined a couple days
i think

and the bag just
dripped
