hope

if you are searching
for hope
she is over there
smiling

what the future holds
a partner
couple of cats
and a dog
resume action
understanding
basic needs
whatever that is

hope knows

filled with coastlines
distilled religion
a hit record and
fashion
alignment
while hope
over there
continues
smiling
